This is my story: I am a keyboardist and composer from New Jersey. I played in rock bands for 20 years before focusing my efforts on composing instrumental music. I have studied music history, theory and composition at Rutgers University. Edification, my first solo album, was released in 2008, and I am currently working on my second album.
I will be playing keyboards with Eric Harrison's Crash Chorus at the Concert for Eric at Pino's Gift Basket Shoppe and Wine Cellar, on January 13, 2018. This will be a tribute concert for my great friend Eric Kvortek, a brilliant musician and audio engineer, who passed away in September after a valiant battle with brain cancer. Many great artists will be performing, all friends and collaborators of Eric's. Please come and celebrate Eric's life in music: https://www.facebook.com/events/365009650605063/
I recently finished composing "Guardian Angels," a short work for piano, cello and flute. I hope to begin basic tracking for my second solo album soon.
Edification is an ASCAPPlus award-winning collection of ten instrumental compositions for solo keyboard and small ensembles, composed, performed and produced by Eddie Konczal. Edification was mastered by Eric Kvortek at The Gasworks, East Brunswick, NJ.
